About

In every issue of The Leading Edge, the National Marine Propeller Association (NMPA) publishes “cool pictures, unbelievable stories and amazing work” by propeller repair professionals belonging to its organization. Propspeed, the industry-leading foul-release coating, got a shout-out in its winter 2017/2018 e-newsletter, along with a before-and-after photo of two big wheels, courtesy of Frank & Jimmie’s Propeller in Fort Lauderdale.

At the NMPA’s annual convention in Las Vegas last November, Propspeed's Southeast technical sales consultant Mark Billingsley presented to the group, highlighting marine coatings as an added revenue stream. F&J president and COO Don MacRae gave a firsthand testimonial on how his shop upsells Propspeed to increase customer satisfaction, in particular, assisting divers and captains in meeting their launch dates.

The NMPA focuses on maintaining high standards of propeller repair and improving the recreational marine propeller industry overall. Propspeed is proud to be recognized as a preferred provider and part of the NMPA’s greater mission.
